On The Sunny Side

Not all "serious" happens to politicians, parents and educators... Or even humans, matter of factly... Try and see life through the eyes of a pet or animal. "Defeating the opposition" takes on new meaning in this blog.

America's Post Traumatic Bush Disorder

Iraq is a little bit under the weather. Afghanistan's not looking too good itself...
The administration of these two far away wars has brought both moral and immoral consequences to the doorsteps of all Americans. We are all participants in these wars with or without our consent thanks to the "conservative" policies George W. Bush... You get what you pay for, but two wars for the price of 10 is really no bargain!
Americans are on edge about everything these days... The economy has been shattered as a result of these two wars costing U.S. taxpayers billions. At this writing the cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan since 2001 is $931,106,500,000 and counting... Iraq has cost $700,000,000,000 alone! http://costofwar.com/
That's just the money aspect of Bush's conflict. The money can be recovered, but lives are needlessly and tragically lost forever. The devastated families and broken hearts can never be mended back to original form. How did we allow this to happen? You have to ask the serious question, "Did Bush finally get even with Bin Laden, or did his warmongering only divide an already fragile and sick society more interested in having plenty for themselves than justice for each other?"
America is in social shock. We are all suffering a form of Post Traumatic Bush Disorder. The moral fibers of the nation are stretched to their limits it seems. But as confused as many are about what is right and what is wrong in America, to continue these conflicts, brought on by multi-governmental greed and extremism, is repugnant to anything that resembles civility.
President Obama must put an end to these tragic wars, and restore confidence to his office. As long as these wars continue, there will be no economic recovery in America. This nation will reap discontent and self-destruction if its citizens continue lobbying for tax cuts and executive bonuses as its leaders continue to administer death and destruction on foreign soil...
President Obama's success hinges on his ending these conflicts quickly. In this matter, Obama is the soul of our nation. Pray that he takes that Nobel Peace Prize to heart... and soul.
